Shaina is a Philadelphia-based poet, editor, and business owner. She has a poetry MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her debut chapbook, in the homes that house my history, is forthcoming from Moonstone Press. Her poems can be found in Coffin Bell, The Passionfruit Review, The Rupture, and many other places.

Jack is a web developer, writer, and musician from New Jersey. He has a Masters Degree in Visual Communication from Hodges University and lives in Philadelphia with his wife Shaina.

Laura Davies (she/her) is a British poet interested in the links between nature and language. Her Welsh heritage influences much of her work, especially the landscape and mythology of Wales. She’s had poems published in The Wild Word, is a Staff Writer for Poetry Wales and a Communications Officer for a small charity. She loves connecting with new people and is on a lifelong mission to finish all the books she keeps buying!

Leisel Brex is working on her MFA with a focus in Creative Writing and Poetry. She has had some of her work published by Bluebird Scribe, *82 Review, Discretionary Love, Wingless Dreamers, and Fireflies’ Light. She believes we are all poets living within poetry and is thrilled to be part of the Cypress Review team.

Alexis Kelleher is a mother and short story author living in Connecticut. She writes fiction and personal essays on living with Crohn’s Disease and has been published in various literary magazines.

Pleasant Nneoma Stephen is a poet, student, and writing coach. She is an ardent lover of doodles, rainfall, and African mythology. Her works have appeared/are forthcoming in Decolonial Passage, Vagabond City Lit, Iceblink Literary Magazine, and elsewhere. Pleasant substacks @pleasantnstephen as a writer of Weekend’s Poets.

Ehsan Ahmed Mehedi is a poet, visual artist, and writing consultant. His poems and visuals appeared or are forthcoming in Eunoia Review, The Quarter(ly), The Greyhound Journal, Harbor Review, Stonecoast Review, Barzakh Magazine, and elsewhere. He is also a fan of audiobooks and enjoys reading audiobooks both in English and French, which he often does on LibriVox. His poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
